UAV Planner provides a tool for managing, planning, and mitigating risks in drone operations. The service is primarily aimed at businesses and individual drone pilots engaging in commercial or private UAV operations.

2. Access and User Accounts

  • Account Creation: All users must create a personal account to use the service. Accounts may not be shared with others.
  • Qualifications: There are no specific age or license requirements to create an account, but users must ensure they have the necessary licenses and permissions to operate drones.
  • User Responsibility: It is the user's responsibility to comply with all applicable local laws and regulations related to UAV operations.

3. Subscription and Payments

  • Subscription: The service is offered as a subscription with monthly or annual prepayment. Customized agreements are available for enterprise customers. Prices are listed in the pricing section of our website.
  • Price Changes: Any changes to subscription prices will be announced at least 30 days in advance and will take effect for the next billing period.
  • Cancellation and Refunds: All customers are entitled to a 60-day cancellation/refund period after signing up. Beyond this period, no refunds will be given for subscriptions already paid.

  • UAV Planner provides no guarantees regarding the accuracy of the planning tools or information available in the service.
  • Users are fully responsible for their UAV operations and for complying with applicable laws and regulations.
  • UAV Planner disclaims liability for any damages to property, individuals, or third parties arising from the use of the service.

5. Privacy and Data Management

  • General: UAV Planner processes data in accordance with GDPR for individual users. For businesses, separate data processing agreements regulate how data is stored and used.
  • Ownership of Data: Users retain ownership of all content uploaded to the service. UAV Planner only accesses customer data for support and system improvement purposes.
  • Use of Data: UAV Planner may collect anonymized statistics to analyze and improve the service. Telemetry data is used to monitor deviations from flight routes and to provide better maintenance solutions.
  • Data Sharing: In the future, we will offer features for sharing flight plans and reporting incidents to aviation authorities, subject to user consent.

6. Prohibited Use and Misconduct

  • Prohibited Activities: The following constitutes misuse of the service:
    • Sharing an account among multiple users.
    • Publishing or sharing information from the service outside the platform, including publicly sharing screenshots without permission.
  • Consequences: UAV Planner reserves the right to suspend or terminate user accounts in cases of suspected misuse.

7. Updates and Changes

  • Notifications: Changes to these Terms will be communicated to the company representative who signed up for the subscription.
  • Acceptance: Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

8. Legal Jurisdiction

  • These Terms are governed by Norwegian law. Any disputes shall be resolved in Norwegian courts.
  • For users within the EU, relevant EU regulations also apply. For future users in other regions, such as the USA, these Terms will be adjusted accordingly.
